Al Roker (* 20. August 1954) ist ein US-amerikanischer Fernsehmeteorologe, Schauspieler und Buchautor. Bekannt wurde er vor allem als Wettermoderator der NBC-Sendung „Today“. Am Montag, dem 20. Juli 2009, startete er seine neue Morgensendung „Wake Up with Al“ auf dem Weather Channel, die wochentags von 6 bis 7 Uhr ET (Eastern Time) ausgestrahlt wird – eine Stunde früher als „Today“. Er besitzt das abgelaufene Fernsehsiegel der American Meteorological Society (Nr. 238). Er ist Autor des Kriminalromans „The Morning Show Murders“ über einen Starkoch und Moderator einer Morgensendung, der in internationale Intrigen und Chaos verwickelt wird.
